MUSEUM INFORMATION
Hours and Admission
The National Museum of Catholic Art
and History is open to the public Monday through Friday 10 am to 4pm and on Weekends by appointment. The
Museum is closed Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's
Day. On rare occasions, the Museum may close for a special
event.
Admission:
Students - $7.00
Adults - $10.00
Seniors - $5.00
Children under 5 - Free
Members - Free
Getting Here
The National Building Museum is located
at 443 East 115th Street, between 1st Avenue and Pleasant
Avenue, Adjacent to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Wheelchair
access is not currently available. The Museum does not provide
parking. Parking is available on Streets.

By car: Take the FDR
to the 96th Street or 116th Street Exit.
At E 96th Street (Northbound);
turn right on 1st Avenue. Turn right on E 114th Street.
Make left on Pleasant Avenue and left into 115th Street.
The Museum is located in the middle of the block on north
side (right) at 443 E 115th Street.
At E 116th Street (Southbound);
Bear right on E 116th Street. Turn
left on Pleasant Avenue. Turn right on E 115th Street. The
Museum is located in the middle of the block on north side
(right) at 443 E 115th Street.
By Train:
Take No. 2,3 or 6 train, to 116th
Street. Take M116 Bus (eastbound). Exit at 1st Avenue at
116th Street. Walk one block south to 115th Street. Make
a left going towards Pleasant Avenue. The Museum is located
at 443 E 115th Street.
By Bus: M15
travels up 1st avenue and down 2nd avenue. Get off at 116th
street and walk one block south on 1st avenue to 115th Street
& make left going towards Pleasant Ave.
